Body Re-Education/Aignment Technique |
| We will approach alignment from both anatomical and body-felt viewpoints. Working on the deep structural level, we move towards gaining support through muscular and skeletal connections for moving through space. Workshops are designed to aid the individual in getting the most out of what they have, helping the student move with greater ease, efficiency and power. We align the bones by using the muscles most responsible for the transfer of forces through the body. This workshop is based on the Body Re-Education: Klein Technique teachings of Barbara Mahler. Rosy Simas began her studies of Klein Technique with Barbara Mahler and Susan Klein in 1991/92 in New York. Rosy began teaching *Alignment Technique* classes in 2006 as a part of her training in Barbara Mahler's teacher training group. Since 2006, Rosy has taught weekly Body Re-Education/Alignment Technique classes in Montréal (Studio 303, Circuit Est, Mange mes Pieds) and in Minneapolis (Zenon, The Ritz, Fallout Studio & Global Somatics). |
